We are delighted to announce an upcoming training workshop dedicated to SKM. This online workshop will be held online on 9 July 2024 at 13:00 CET, and is designed to equip researchers with the skills needed to effectively use and contribute to SKM.

The SKM training workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the functionalities and applications of SKM, including the Plant Stress Signaling Model (PSS) and the Comprehensive Knowledge Network (CKN). Participants will gain practical experience in navigating and utilizing these powerful tools for their research projects.

This workshop is ideal for plant biologists and researchers interested in plant molecular interactions in plants and plant stress responses, no prior knowledge is required.

Key topics:

  • Introduction to SKM: Overview of the resource, its components, and its significance in plant systems biology.
  • Using SKM: Exploring and visualizing the knowledge graphs, accessing various export formats, and integrating SKM with other research tools.
  • Contributing to SKM: Step-by-step guidance on using the contribution interface to enhance the resource with novel discoveries (advanced users only).

Instructors

  • Carissa Bleker, National Institute of Biology
  • Špela Baebler, National Institute of Biology
